New students and applicants

Staffordshire University is doing everything in its power to ensure that you have all the guidance and support you need to make an informed decision about the next stage in your education, helping you to identify the course and route that is right for you.

We will continue to follow the latest guidance issued by the Office for Students (OfS) and other relevant bodies in relation to our applications and admissions during and following on from the COVID-19 crisis, ensuring that our institution’s position is clearly set out and we are communicating any necessary changes to our operations and courses transparently and openly.

Campus Tours

We have now resumed on-campus tours to give you the opportunity to explore the campus and walk in the footsteps of a Staffordshire University student.

We’ll be operating campus tours frequently, with new dates released regularly, so there's always an opportunity to experience Staffordshire University for yourself.

To find out more, please visit our campus tours page.

Open Days

We have resumed on-campus open days and we will be running hybrid open days giving undergraduates the opportunity to visit our Stoke-on-Trent campus in person or virtually. This will give you the opportunity to find out everything you need to know about the campus, courses and facilities.

For more information about our open days and upcoming dates, please visit the undergraduate open days page.

Offer holders

We have a wealth of digitally enabled resources for Offer Holders, which we will continue to share with you via email to ensure you have the time you need to prepare for your journey with Staffordshire University. We hope that you, your family and friends are safe and well, and we look forward to meeting you.

International applicants

We appreciate that some students may be concerned about how COVID-19 will affect their studies in the UK. Staffordshire University is closely monitoring the advice from the World Health Organisation to ensure that any impact on students is minimised as much as possible. If you are planning to study with us and have concerns about your application or ability to travel, please contact us so that we can discuss your individual circumstances.

Online enrolment

Whether you’re a new or returning student, you must complete online enrolment. This will start you on the process to becoming an official Staffordshire University student.

Once you have received your email providing you with a username and password, you need to visit e:VisionStaffs (our student portal) and follow the steps to complete online enrolment. Don’t worry, it only takes about 15 minutes.

If you haven't received this email yet, please contact our Enquiries team by writing to enquiries@staffs.ac.uk or calling +44(0)1782 294400. If you are struggling with online enrolment, you can find our online enrolment FAQs for new and returning students on the welcome website.

Courses 2021/22

All our on-campus courses will provide an exciting mix of learning and teaching approaches. The exact mix will vary for each course area, but all (full time undergraduate) students will benefit from an active on-campus experience, with at least three days each week of scheduled on-campus learning and student experience activity. You'll find more details in the Student Charter.

Face Coverings

Face coverings must be worn while moving through all University and Students' Union buildings and posters are displayed across all campuses to act as reminders. Find out more about the use of face coverings on campus by visiting our Face Coverings information webpage.
