Self-isolating and need local help?

Self Isolation Support Payment

If you meet ALL of the eligibility criteria below, you are entitled to an Isolation Payment of £500:

  • You have been told to self-isolate by NHS Wales, Test, Trace, Protect service (TTP) on or after 23 October 2020
  • You are employed or self-employed
  • You cannot work from home and will lose income as a result
  • You or your partner are currently receiving at least one of the following benefits: Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, income-based Employment and Support Allowance, income-based Job Seekers Allowance, Income Support, Housing Benefit and/or Pension Credit.

Local Buddy Schemes

Many local communities have made arrangements to help individuals who are vulnerable due to Covid-19. There groups can help in a many different ways including help with shopping, meals on wheels, delivering medicines or just a friendly telephone conversation.

Food Banks in Gwynedd

Food Banks across Gwynedd provide emergency food boxes for people and families in need.

If you need the service contact your local Food Bank.

All of the Food Banks below follow current hygiene guidelines and everyone must keep a distance of 2 meters apart at all times please.

The Tenancy Hardship Grant is a grant that provides financial assistance to tenants in the private rented sector, and who have built up rental arrears due to COVID-19.
