Face Coverings/Masks

On July 27, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued new guidance advising everyone, including those who are vaccinated, to wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas where there is substantial or high transmission of COVID-19. Anderson County, Oconee County and Pickens County are areas of substantial transmission; therefore, the College is recommending all students, employees and guests wear face coverings indoors while on a TCTC campus. This is a recommendation – not a requirement – and it is subject to change.

COVID-19 Reminders for Students

Students should continue to review a COVID-19 Health Screening Form on a weekly basis. Students who are not vaccinated and experience symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to the virus should notify the Student Support Office using the COVID-19 Students Issues and Help form. Students who are fully vaccinated should notify the Student Support Office only if they experience symptoms of COVID-19.

NOTE: Employees should use the COVID-19 Employee Reporting Form for Student Concerns when they become aware of students dealing with issues related to COVID-19. Student Support will connect with each student individually to work through the issue. This reporting also helps to identify any possible risks to the campus community.
