Free COVID-19 Testing
The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SC DHEC) is offering COVID-19 testing on Tri-County’s Pendleton Campus. Testing is free and open to the community. Click here to learn more.
Face Coverings/Masks
Masks are proven to slow the spread of the coronavirus and are critical to our ability to keep our campuses open and for in-person instruction to continue. Right now, COVID-19 transmission rates are high in our service area and vaccination rates are not where they need to be to effectively slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Wearing a mask is an easy and effective way to slow the spread of the virus and to prevent more hospitalizations and deaths. Accordingly, everyone, regardless of vaccination status, while indoors on a TCTC campus starting August 19. is required to wear a mask. This requirement is subject to change based on COVID-19 transmission rates in our community and will be announced via email and on this page (tctc.edu/coronavirus).
COVID-19 Information for Students
Students should review a COVID-19 Health Screening Form on a weekly basis. Any student regardless of vaccination status, who is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, has been exposed to the virus, or has tested positive for the virus should not come to campus and should notify the Student Support Office using the COVID-19 Students Issues and Help form.
NOTE: Employees should use the COVID-19 Employee Reporting Form for Student Concerns when they become aware of students dealing with issues related to COVID-19. Student Support will connect with each student individually to work through the issue. This reporting also helps to identify any possible risks to the campus community.
