Current status of our campuses

The UK government has adopted a framework to manage local COVID-19 outbreaks, with three local COVID alert levels. Staffordshire University currently has campuses in Tier 1 and Tier 2 areas (outlined below), and is closely monitoring local guidance to ensure the continued health, safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and local communities.

For further information concerning the UK Government's three-tier system and what this means for our Connected University community, please see the following tier-related guidance.

Tier 1 (Medium)

National restrictions continue to be in place.

  • Stafford

  • Shrewsbury

Tier 2 (High)

High level of local infections with additional restrictions in place.

  • Stoke-on-Trent (from 00:01 on Saturday 24 October 2020)

  • London

Tier 3 (Very High)

Very high level of local infections with tighter restrictions in place.

We currently have no campuses with Tier 3 restrictions
