As our community continues to respond to the coronavirus pandemic, Tri-County Technical College’s Wellness Programs is available to provide services, answer questions and assist with resources. In addition, Wellness will continue to assist with personal issues, attendance concerns, academic suspension, SC Thrive applications, emergency fund applications, food insecurity, and counseling referrals.

Employment/Unemployment Resources

The SC Department of Employment and Workforce is a resource for those who are employed, under-employed or unemployed. Learn more about employment/unemployment resources here.

Financial Resources

You can apply for Medicaid, SNAP and other benefits over the phone. Download this flier for step-by-step instructions

SC Thrive can assist you with filing your state and federal taxes for free. To be eligible, your adjusted gross income must be less than $65,000 (or less than $95,000 if filing status is married filing jointly). Visit the SC Thrive website to learn more

Healthcare Providers

Several South Carolina health systems are offering telehealth options to the public. These options are available to anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms in South Carolina. To access the free consult, use the promo code COVID19.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency announced eviction suspension relief for renters in March 2020. Learn more about housing resources here.
